  • Jay Kleberg

    Director/Producer

    Jay is the Executive Director of the Gulf of Mexico Trust and previously served as Associate Director of Texas Parks Wildlife Foundation. He co-produced Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story and was Associate Producer of The River and the Wall.

  • Chrissy Kleberg

    Producer/Photographer

    Chrissy is a former wildlife field biologist and amateur photographer. She has conducted avian research and reintroduction work with the U.S. Geological Survey, University of Florida and the Peregrine Fund in Hawaii, Florida, New Mexico and Texas.

  • John Aldrich

    Producer/Editor

    John has twenty-five years of experience in documentary filmmaking, producing, editing and shooting three award winning documentary features: An Unreal Dream: The Michael Morton Story, Audubon, and The River and the Wall.

  • Skip Hobbie

    Producer/Director of Photography

    Skip is an Emmy Award winning wildlife cinematographer based in Austin, Texas. He has filmed for National Geographic, BBC, Netflix, and PBS. Skip's latest credits include his role as the Director of Photography on Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story and as a producer and lead cinematographer on the PBS: Nature film Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas.

  • Karine Aigner

    Cinematographer/Photographer

    Karine Aigner is a freelance environmental photojournalist, photography educator, and photo editor with nine years on staff at National Geographic. Her photography focuses on the intersections of people and wildlife, and the conservation issues that surround them. Her work has been featured in National Geographic, Nature Conservancy Magazine, Audubon, World Wildlife, BBC Wildlife, National Wildlife Federation and various other publications.

  • Henry Davis

    Cinematographer

    Henry is an American documentary filmmaker and cinematographer with a focus on cinéma vérité and wildlife documentary filmmaking. Henry feels that, through using his camera he is able to connect with his subjects and capture uniquely intimate moments. These moments are what continues to inspire Henry to make documentaries.

  • Patrick Thrash

    Cinematographer

    Patrick is a 6th generation Texan who grew up hunting, fishing, and adventuring in the Texas Hill Country. A graduate of Texas A&M University, he’s lived all over the globe from Hungary to Mexico and his passion for people and wild places has led him to work as a photographer, filmmaker and guide in Montana, Utah, and Texas.

    Katherine Hill

    Production Manager

    Raised in Corpus Christi, Katherine has always had a passion for animals and water. In 2016, she finished her degree in Geography and then began a career in commercial film with roles in production, food, and wardrobe styling. She moved to Austin to spend more time outside and work on documentaries, like this one, that inspire curiosity and positive change for the environment and the life it supports.

    Marketing & Communications Manager

    Stephanie is a native Texan, current Padre Island resident, and has spent the majority of her life along the South Texas Coast. She holds a Marketing degree from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and is deeply passionate about promoting coastal conservation initiatives and wildlife rehabilitation.
